Project Description:

The principal aim of the project is to enhance the overall educational experience at Oles Honchar Dnipro National University (DNU) by employing a multifaceted strategy. This strategy encompasses the enhancement of the expertise of university management and faculty members, as well as a robust advocacy for the integration of digitalization and e-learning methodologies. Additionally, the project seeks to strengthen DNU's scientific and research initiatives by leveraging the insights and support of experts from Charles University. Furthermore, it aims to expand DNU's collaborative activities with esteemed European institutions, fostering a network of partnerships that will yield mutual benefits and advancements.

The anticipated benefits of this project for the partner university include the modernization of the e-learning environment and comprehensive methodological support for the utilization of electronic information resources and the digitization of teaching processes. Moreover, the project will extend its support to the partner university, facilitating DNU’s active involvement in Horizon Europe projects, as well as projects under the Erasmus+ program. It is noteworthy that Ukraine has gained eligibility for all leading activities, including KA2 cooperative partnership projects within Erasmus+.

Furthermore, the project holds the potential to make a substantial contribution to fostering stronger ties between Charles University and Oles Honchar Dnipro National University. It is expected to bolster mutual comprehension of present and long-term development challenges, streamlining the decision-making procedures related to collaborative efforts aimed at advancing common objectives shared by the representatives of both institutions. The insights and methodologies gained by Oles Honchar Dnipro National University through this endeavor will be actively applied, put into practice, and subsequently disseminated across Ukraine.

On Friday, November 10, 2023, the venerable Karolinum of Charles University played host to a conference centered around the "Support for improving the quality of teaching, research, and international activities at Oles Honchar Dnipro National University (DNU)" project. This noteworthy initiative, generously funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, reached its zenith with a comprehensive evaluation of the collaborative endeavors undertaken by DNU and Charles University. The conference convened eminent representatives from both institutions, underscoring the profound significance of their strategic partnership.

The conference also served as an invaluable forum for substantive discussions and the exchange of perspectives concerning the augmentation of educational and research partnerships between European and Ukrainian institutions.
